Im just starting to work in Logic Ver.10.7.5. so I am new to its work flow. I am using the loops and made a grid and loaded various loops and made sections to play back and now I want to record... 1st issue: There is a loop called NEON that is a drum loop with multiple tracks of its own... I can't record at all on that track... I open its pallet and see the different kit/snr/hihat etc... I select the record button on all those tracks and they turn red... My "Master" fader (which I never use, I mean, who does?) has taken on a life of its own over the last few months, and it has been driving me absolutely nuts. Suddenly it's up at +4db or something, causing the Stereo Out meter to peak, or it plunges to -8db or below and everything is weirdly quiet. Can't find a way to trigger only one cell as you can in Live or other programs and moreover, do it via MIDI or key command. I want to add clip by clip and shut some off here or there. I have footswitches to move around the cells but can't see how to enable/disable play of each individually with out it triggering everything ..read more

When exporting a score as MusicXML, can I include markers so that the sections are marked in the resulting score? I have to believe that MusicXML would support them. I am importing the MusicXML into Sibelius.
