By that I mean with the watch face on the inside of my wrist. I've always worn a watch like that for comfort as I have a small bony wrist. I'd like to try my first tracker watch but not sure if I'd have to wear it on the front of my wrist like normal people (!) for the sensors to work. Thanks.
Also I don't know what kind of watch I'm going to get yet so is the same true for all smart watches?

I've got a charge 6 and my distance goal is set at 3.1 miles per day, I think the default. When I hit that it shows I have met my goal - however the chart/graph thing isn't 100% full. Both on the app and the bars that light up on the left side of the device screen that show progress on a given metric.
Anyone else experienced this or have a suggestion?

So I was thinking today that a big missed feature for Fitbit is a medication/vitamin reminder and tracking. It seems like it would be something the app would have. I'd love to be able to put in a schedule of when I take my vitamins and medications and have a push notification at that time to say yes I took it or I'm skipping. Then be able to look back and see what I've taken. The notification coming to my watch would be even better. And a feature to track non-daily things like pain killers so I can see what time I took them. Anyone else feel like this would be helpful?

Ive have this versa 2 for 3 years and its hanging on by a thread. Feel proud that I’ve almost completely worn through the metal and will have to buy a versa 4 soon. Excited for the built in gps upgrade!

Hi! Wondering if anyone can help. I have a fitbit versa. I realized since Friday it has not been tracking my distance. I'm averaging 13,000 steps for the week but 0.75 miles. The only distance it registered was a tracked run. I tried restarting it and checked that it still has permission to access my phone GPS. Anyone know how to fix this?

Just found that you can export data from Fitbit, which I did in a hurry given that a lot of this stuff may move over to broken Google infrastructure - like we're seeing with Fitbit pay not working once migrated.
Anyway:
Export from Fitbit:
https://www.fitbit.com/settings/data/export
May not apply, but you can import to Garmin:

Hey so I have a Versa 4 I got June last year and after a software update it kept restarting and became basically unusable. I let the battery die on it and left it alone for a few weeks. Tried to clean the contact points, restart, nothing works. Contact Customer Support and go through troubleshooting with them and the best they can offer is 35% a new watch.
Any suggestions or advice on anything else I can try? My watch is barely a year old and I really don't want to/have the means to replace it.
