To support their healing, Epiphany graduates are given the opportunity to share openly about their addiction and recovery experience - an important tool for sustained recovery. Julia successfully completed Epiphany's 90-day treatment program and transitioned to our step-down housing. To support her ongoing journey to build a brighter future, we asked Julia to write her story down in her own words to be shared with the Epiphany community. We invite you all to read her brave account below - an incredible testament to the impact and importance of your generous support for Epiphany's life-saving ..read more

READ newsletter Dear Friends of Epiphany,
I was recently asked to write what being at Epiphany Center means to me to share with prospective donors. I decided to share it with all of you here and in our latest issue of our FOCUS newsletter.
Being at Epiphany Center gives me the privilege of helping many children, whose mothers are challenged by substance addiction, homelessness, unemployment, and long histories of trauma and abuse. We listen to each mother’s story and their dreams for the future of their children. You can read two of these stories in the latest newsletter. Like Sarah and Julia ..read more

Epiphany Center has long been a place where women can participate in residential recovery services while keeping their young children by their side. Keeping families together not only increases the likelihood that the mother will complete and sustain her recovery journey but also ensures her children receive essential developmental support during this pivotal time.
Historically, our facilities have been able to care for 15 children at any one time and only between the ages of zero (0) and three (3) years. A long-time dream of ours has been to expand our childcare facilitie ..read more

Our annual Fund-A-Need campaign invites our wonderful Epiphany community to help us raise essential funds for a specific and important needs for the Center.

This year, for 2024, we needed your help raising $125,000 for the installation of se ..read more

READ newsletter Dear Friends of Epiphany,
As you look through this issue of FOCUS, you will see how blessed we are at Epiphany Center. The pictures and articles highlight the joys and successes we have enjoyed these past six months.
Like all newsletters that you receive from the organizations you support, the pictures can go only so far. They tell you facts, but the emotions and feelings have to be imagined from what you see and hear. When you read Mia’s story of how she went from using marijuana at the age of 8 to her completing Epiphany Center at 30, you are left to imagine the pain a ..read more

Earlier this year, in partnership with San Francisco Family Treatment Court, Epiphany launched its Outpatient Program to better meet the needs of those affected by substance dependency in San Francisco.
The program is designed to provide an intensive level of care for those seeking to extend their recovery treatment beyond a residential setting. While any San Francisco County resident seeking treatment may qualify for this program, it also supports those who have already completed 90 days of residential treatment with an aftercare plan focused on relapse prevention and building life skills to ..read more

Every year, at our annual Celebrating Mothers Luncheon, an Epiphany graduate bravely tells her story of addiction and path to recovery through Epiphany programs. This gives the graduate an opportunity to share openly about her experience - an important tool for sustained recovery - as well as gives event attendees a first-hand account of how their support changes lives. This year, Mia, a current resident of Epiphany Step-Down Housing, bravely stood in front of guests to tell her story. We invite you all to read her powerful remarks below - an incredible testament to the impact and importance ..read more

On Wednesday, May 8th, the Epiphany League hosted its 16th annual Celebrating Mothers Luncheon at the St. Francis Yacht Club in San Francisco. The sold out, yearly fundraiser provides a meaningful way to celebrate the women in our lives (mothers, daughters, sisters, aunts, grandmothers, and friends) while also raising much needed funds to support the women served by Epiphany Center's recovery programs.
To date, Epiphany events have raised over $3,000,000 to ensure we can meet the ever-changing-needs of the more 250 at-risk families we serve each year. Thanks to the generosity of this year's ..read more
