background- simple- fans run high speed ALWAYS. keys in ignition/ keys out, car on/ car off, if the battery is connected and the radiator fan is plugged in- its running on high. 12 Volts on the car side of the radiator fan plug if the battery is hooked up. i cant find a fuse/relay between the two.
anyone have a wiring diagram? or can tell me if the car side of the radiator fan plug should always have 12 volts? ie problem on car side or radiator fan/fcm side?

Hello, I currently have an A3 with the cr170 engine and another with the cr140 engine. Long story short I am going to be selling the one with the 170 engine for parts, then use my 140 one. I want to maintain the power I get from the 170 as it’s mapped up to around 220. I have the idea that if I put the turbo and injectors in from my 170 into the 140 and get it mapped again then it can run the same power? Not too sure, if anyone can shine some light on this it would be much appreciated. Thank...

Hello,
I fired up my VCDS and scanned it then cleared it and scanned it. same codes came up.
he states his car drives fine besides slightly nicked front brake pad sensor wire.
I removed most unnecessary "no codes found" off the scans.
from my opinion, I am leaning to the alternator or pulley.

Hello lovely people
Any advice for pulling a bashed-in oil pan on a 2011 8P 2.0 TDI?
Purchased the little guy in need of some fixes and after pouring a 1/2 gallon of oil onto the floor, I discovered a badly damaged oil pan; I purchased the replacement so just reaching out to see if there's anything crazy or if it's pretty straight forward.

Good evening everyone,
I spent the last few weeks lurking through the forums for a solution but to no avail.
I have a 2012 A3 TDI and within the last year, it has gone through TWO HPFP failures. Both times the mechanic attributed it to fuel contamination. Both times the pump went without warning.
A friend who has a JSW TDI recommended I do the CP3 mod so while I was away in a business trip, I dropped the car off at a shop and they did the mod for me.
I bought the retrofit kit from...

Hey all!
I am a few years into ownership on my 2015 A3 TDI and I love it. Great gas mileage, enough power, and a sporty feel with the Bilstein B8s I recently installed. I am running into an issue though.
I love going up to the snow, but dealing with chains, especially in a lowered car, is not fun. I could get a Quattro gasser but wheres the fun in that? I understand that they made Quattro TDIs in Europe, but sadly never brought them to the NA market. I have looked into a few of the...
