My 2011 came with some random vw wheels and brand new tires. No tpms sensors to be found. Just to verify, by 2010 the A3 went to using abs for tpms? Looked into deactivating the warning via VCDS but I don't believe it's possible, I believe I just need to properly infate the tires and reset the tire pressure warning on the dash. I was able to solve my "permanent" emissions dtc today with 350 miles to spare. Hopefully this can help someone else. 2015 A3 TDI Kerma engine tune and dsg tune 78k miles Background: I drove 4 hours of interstate at 73mph, stopped to check into my hotel, and then drove to dinner. Hi. New member here. I recently took a punt on a audi a3 1.9tdi cabriolet that had a tapping fault.. I did a diagnostic on it but no faults came up. It sounded like an injector seal. I pulled all 4. New seals and injector loom changed. Started it up. No change. I checked the cam and it had some marks on it and looked worn so managed to get a kit. Been lurking here for some time. My background is in BMWs (nothing newer than a 2006), but I've had a long-term crush on the 8P A3. I've done all of the maintenance/repairs on my BMWs for the past 10+ years, so I'm fairly handy self-wrenching on German iron. I'm looking for a daily driver to absorb my commute. 2-3 days per week, I commute 90 miles each way, the vast majority of which is 70+ mph highway travel. This works out to about 25k miles per year. Good afternoon! Needing some help. Had an engine replaced on an Audi A3 2011 tdi by a mechanic that did not know what he was doing. When we got the car back there were several electrical issues. Left front light and turn signal / tail lights / left rear turn signal / abs all not working. Checked all fuses and they are all good.
