Hi All, My first post so apologies if I miss anything protocol related. I've recently purchased a new forged engine for my 8P S3 and plan to start the rebuild shortly. I'm planning on aiming for the 500BHP mark as I currently had the original engine stage 2+ mapped with the necessary external components uprated. I'm working through the ancillaries that I need to upgrade but I am stuck on the clutch selection. Gone from none existent when I got the car 6 months ago to mind blowingly annoying now. I think I’ve traced the noise to the right hand side of the glove box possibly where the box hinges at the rear !? Gearbox in my A3 had been notchey  since purchase. Dawned on me today this is no longer the case. I may still carry out a gear oil change. Shouldn’t temp fate but I do like a free fix ..read more

Hi everyone im new to this forum hope you can help. MY grandson has an audi a3 2010 1.9 diesel convertible.  The electric roof, the passanger front window and the passanger central locking does not work. The only way that I can get it all working OK is to disconnect  and reconnect the conector on the passanger  A pillar.  It all work fine but after several times of operating it all drops again. I then have to do the same thing all over again. Not sure what the problem may be a bad earth. I would be very grateful if someone out there has a solution. Thanks in advance ..read more

Hi lads long story short I have a 2005 gti with a Cdl engine from a 8p s3. Recently my car has developed a misfire on cylinder 4 only it’s accompanied with these following codes p0300 multiple missfire, p0304 cylinder  four missifre ,p1093 bank 1 fuel measuring system 2 malfunction. Cars gotten new pcv, coil packs, spark plugs, intake manifold was cleaned + valves from carbon, new n80 valve + the lines that run into the manifold, fuel filter, cam follower. Hi All So this morning got into my 2009 A3 1.4tfsi started as normal foot depressing clutch as i was getting to the biting point the car started making a horrendous clattering sound which immediately went away when i depressed the clutch pedal  I’m thinking its the flywheel and/or clutch  Any ideas how i can narrow down the fault ..read more
