I have an Audi S3 2011 and the Key remote has stopped working, I plugged in VCDS to fit a new key battery and program but I found not able to communicate to the 09 central electrics control unit. on the Gateway fault code it has 010. To start my diagnosis I want to check fuses and power to the control unit. But I do not know where to get diagrams for this. Dose anyone know where I can get wiring diagrams from? Thanks ..read more

Hello, I bought an RS3 last week and noticed squeaky brakes at low speeds. Coming to a dead stop is when they are noisy. the car only has about 100km on the clock. Has anyone else experienced this on their 8v. I know it was an issue on the 8p. i can try bedding in the brakes and see if that makes a difference. Has anyone else experienced a clicking sound from the brake pedal on releasing the pedal? Sounds like a switch or something - dealer reckons its normal! But on a $100k+ car (especially an Audi) I find it hard to believe that that would have passed Audi's quality control during the design as an acceptable noise ..read more

Hi all, I've had my RS3 8Y for about 5-6 months now & very happy with the car. Lately though I have noticed increased brake squeal. I can only hear it at low speeds when driving forward or in reverse. At first I thought it might be related to the regular rain we have been having & Steel oxides forming on brake disks but over last week it has been fairly dry & squeal is still there. I was sitting in the Macca's drive through just idling, when an error message popped up on my instrument cluster. It was a yellow graphic and read Do not rev above 4k rpm. I drove to a parking bay and turned off the engine, then after a moment turned it back on but the error did not present again. I've inserted the SIM card and enabled the following using VCDS: - my_audi - online_portal_browser_services - picture_navi - online_dictation - remote_HMI - Support_of_threeway_calling - Smartphone_interface_for_rhmi - map_instant_messaging_support After making the changes, Audi Connect icon appeared in MMI.
