Thumb Cove Beach Association has a dock on Chlmark Pond in which members can enjoy sailing, motoring, kayaking and paddle boarding on the pond. Located in Lower Chilmark Pond, one can kayak to Abel's Hill and continue through Dr.'s Creek to Lucy Vincent Beach.
