It’s that time of year again! Let’s see what’s vegan at the Food and Wine Festival 2023 in Disney California Adventure Park!
A few important notes before we begin:
Here is a link to the complete Disney Parks Blog Foodie Guide for your reference, but what you read below in this blog post is a guide to the vegan options only with my reviews and tips.
This year’s Food and Wine Festival in California Adventure is March 3 – April 25, 2023.
I went for the soft opening on March 2, and the info below is what I found. All of the food booths were open and serving their full menus, so there wasn’t much d ..read more

It’s so exciting that we’re having the Lunar New Year Celebration again! The park was closed for the 2021 season of this, since it happens in January/February, but now it’s back again!
This year, it runs from January 21 to February 13, 2022.
There is not a separate ticket for this event; it is just a part of California Adventure to anyone who is in the park.
It consists of themed food and drinks at 4 marketplace booths, Paradise Garden Grill, Studio Catering Truck/Hollywood Lounge, and a few other areas. See the table of contents below to jump to a section that may interest you!

It’s that time of year again! The Lunar New Year Celebration happens mostly in Disney California Adventure Park, with a few items scattered around Downtown Disney as well.
Below are the items that are vegan that I found. Please make sure to read carefully and thoroughly – just because I list an item doesn’t mean that I’m saying 100% that it is vegan! It may need modifications or further clarifications, and ingredients can change from day to day, so make sure to double check with the cast members and chefs.
The Lunar New Year runs this year from January 20 to February 15, 2023. This is not a sp ..read more

This is a question I get pretty often, so I’m doing a post to go over all of the vegan breakfast offerings throughout the Disneyland resort, in Disneyland Park, Disneyland California Adventure, the Disneyland Hotel, and the Grand Californian Hotel.
All of this is information is of course included in my Complete Vegan Guides linked below, but people have been asking for a post with just the breakfast options in it. I also include some grab and go ideas for breakfasts from the snack stands.

It’s that time of year again!
These seasonal Holiday items run from November 11, 2022 to January 8, 2023 (unless otherwise noted). I went on November 12 to my normal walk around of Disneyland and DCA to ask all the necessary questions. Here is a link to the official Foodie Guide for your reference.
The first section below goes over the Festival of Holidays menus. The Festival of Holidays is an event in Disney California Adventure Park that consists of the seasonal food stands, as well as a few items at normal restaurants (e.g. Paradise Garden Grill). This is just a normal part of California A ..read more

Halloween Time is upon us again! Below is everything I found that is vegan specifically for the Halloween Time menu.
Note that this Halloween Time menu is separate from Oogie Boogie Bash. What is listed here, Halloween Time, is for the duration of the Halloween Time season (September 2 to November 10), while the select nights on which Oogie Boogie Bash takes place will have additional foods (mostly candy in the treat trails). I went to the first Oogie Boogie Bash on September 6, and you can see the vegan options there on my recent reel on Instagram.
I am with you that it is very sparse and I h ..read more

This year’s Food and Wine Festival in California Adventure is March 4 – April 26, 2022! So excited that it’s back!!
I went for the soft opening and official opening days on March 3-4 and below is what I found! I will keep adding details as I get more information.
In general, they are not prepared to modify items at the Food and Wine Festival, because much of it is prepared in offsite kitchens and only partially assembled in the booths. Some minor modifications might be possible, but I think it’s best to stick to the items that are designed to be vegan – those will also be the best bang fo ..read more

I am often asked about what the options for vegan kid’s meals are in the parks, and I’m finally getting a moment to do a write up of it! I hope it’s helpful!
The items below are not an exhaustive list; just the most obvious ones that I can think of. There are probably more than this that you could do with modifications/special requests, but this is just a short list to start you off. There are many things that are meant as snacks/light meals that I could see being kid’s meals, depending on the appetite and preferences of your kid. Please let me know (message me on Instagram) if you find any mo ..read more

It’s that time of year! Let’s eat some vegan Holiday-themed food!
There are two categories of Holiday food we are dealing with here:
Festival of Holidays in DCA: This is a food-festival-type event that consists of marketplace booths that pop up around Disney California Adventure, as well as special menus at several DCA restaurants. This event is not separately ticketed; it is free and just a part of your normal experience at DCA during this time of year.
