Tanzania has begun building what it says will be the biggest port in East Africa, in the coastal tourist resort of Bagamoyo.
It is hoped the new facility will handle double the capacity of the one in Dar es Salaam.

There's a lot of construction happening in Tanzania, especially in Dodoma. I'm seeing many new buildings going up but my honest view is that the quality of architecture and interior design of these new buildings generally are very poor.
This is not to say that there isn't some nicely designed buildings but I'm seeing so many buildings that would never get past planning permission in most developed countries.
