I currently own a Garmin DriveSmart 55 and wanted to update the maps from "City Navigator Europe NTU 2019.10" to a newer version. I've been able to get hold of the "City Navigator Europe NTU 2024.10.gmap" files however when I try to push the files to the Satnav using Base Camp, The satnav tells me the files are corrupt and cannot be used. Is there anyway I can get the files to work or do I have to buy a new device? Statistics: Posted by UnknownFinch — Sat Feb 17, 2024 1:50 am ..read more

Dear kolokythas ; I have American T5 but I can't use on my European Alpha100, i know that the software version is 5.2. I can't download RGN Tool and Updater. And unfortunately I don't know how to downgrade the firmware step by step to 3.10. I don't have any technical information about this. If you help me about this in detail I can do it. Can you help me please. Best Regards. Statistics: Posted by ljupcop — Thu Feb 01, 2024 7:21 pm ..read more

Thanks for the advice. I pulled the unit apart & checked usb with a multimeter & all seemed OK. Unfortunately I wrecked the communication ribbon while putting it back together. So I'll have to buy a new GPS. Statistics: Posted by jollocay — Mon Jan 29, 2024 10:09 pm ..read more

Sorry for my lang. Their radio power (and distance) is the same and depends on the terrain and the efficiency of the antennas. If the range is not enough, take an antenna with an increased radius. Alpha 100, by the way, came with it. Statistics: Posted by UralAnts — Sat Jan 27, 2024 10:15 am ..read more

The GPS antenna was replaced on that TT15 about 6 months ago, but it worked with it without problems, until I deleted it and tried to add it again Sorry for my language.... ! This (bold text) is the cause of problems. When replacing the GPS antenna, the cable entry point into the T5 housing was poorly sealed. Water got into and, under the influence of battery voltage, galvanic dissolution of the tracks near transmitter m/c occurred. The collar need to take it to service as quick as possible. I have been watching Ebay for a Drivesmart 65 with Alexa. I would like to find a physical difference between a Drivesmart 65 and a Drivesmart 65 with Alexa. I have noticed some have a triangle above the embossed Garmin on the back and some don't. Or possibly a serial number range. Something to identify a unit as a Alexa unit even when the person selling the unit does not know that it is a unit with Alexa. Statistics: Posted by redmed — Fri Jan 26, 2024 5:35 am ..read more
