We will be on a cruise in a few weeks and want to visit Magen's Bay and Mountain Top while we're in St. Thomas.  Unfortunately, our ship doesn't dock in St. Thomas that day until 12:30.  We had originally planned to go to Magen's Bay in the morning to avoid the crowds but when we realized we won't dock until 12:30, we don't know if we should go as soon as we get off the ship or wait until later in the afternoon, maybe around 3 p.m.  Do you think it will be so crowded it won't even be enjoyable?  Will it be hard to get chairs and/or umbrellas ..read more

Has anyone done this specific tour with Royal Caribbean?  It says you spend 2 hours at Magen's Bay and 2 hours shopping.  The tour includes a stop at Mountain Top and it's listed as a 6 hour tour so I would assume the other 2 hours are spent at Mountain Top but I'm wondering how long it takes to get there and back so that it's really more like an hour there rather than 2 hours.  If anyone has done this tour, could you please give your opinion and what you liked or didn't like about it.  Thanks ..read more

We will be on Wonder of the Seas for the March 17th - 2024 sailing. We stop at St Thomas but don't get there until 12:30pm.   We are thinking about taking the water taxi to Water Island but that late arrival worries me a little. We will be on Wonder of the Seas in a few weeks and want to take a cab from the port to Magen's Bay and then head to Mountain Top before returning to Crown Bay.  Would we be able to get a cab right at Magen's Bay to go to Mountain Top?  When we want to leave Mountain Top, how would we get a cab to return to Crown Bay?  Several years ago we took a cab to Mountain Top and had the driver wait for us while we had drinks and shopped but she came into the store after a short time and said she had to leave.  We'll have people with us who have never been there and we would like to ..read more

All I have been able to find today is it is scheduled to dock at "WICO"? I thought I'd read somewhere the ship would dock at Crown Bay, but searching for WICO, sounds like it might be Havensight?   If my failing memory serves, Havensight is usually preferred by most cruisers due to it's better location for shopping, etc. Crown Bay seems favored by those who like to watch iguanas near the ship.........?   Thanks ..read more
