hey guys, so I have a 2001 toyota celica gt and i’ve had it about 7 or 8 months now. The past few months there has been a weird ticking or rattle like sound and i’m trying to see if anybody may know what it is. This issue has been burning a hole in my brain for quite some while now. Under normal city driving,stop and go traffic or even just from traffic light to traffic light the coolant temperature stays under 100C but the oil keep going up to 100,110 and even 115C WITHOUT racing the engine at all! I can even hear the radiator fans kicking in every 2-4 minutes consistently! I have the OEM water cooled oil cooler and recently installed a Koyorad XL 3row aluminum radiator but the same issue...
