My buddy and I are going to Portland in 2 weeks for a fishing trip. We have a guide for day 1 and are going salmon fishing in the Willamette day 2 we decided to do some bank fishing there. We're bringing our own rod and reels but I was wondering what kind of line I should spool up and what lures to bring thst are best for bank fishing

I think I combed through the 2024 regulations and can't seem to discern if it is or isn't lawful? If you all know the page that's on that would be awesome. Or if I should just call the Oregon department of fish and wildlife and ask.

Hey all. I have a bucket list item to catch a fish in every state, and in June my brother-in-law is getting married in Brookings. I know it's not an optimal time for fishing in the area, but I'm hoping you fine folks can point me in a solid direction to have fun and catch a fish. I won't have a boat, but I will have a day to kill, so I'm happy to drive. Thanks!

Best knot for leaders imo. You can also secure bait like herring strips salmon eggs or shrimp with the loops. Awesome for salmon halibut or lingcod leaders. @PugetSoundFishermen on YouTube

Good afternoon fellow humans, Myself and three buddies are looking to book a three day fishing trip to buoy 10 for salmon in middle August. I’ve hit up several guides so far. I’ve had zero replies. Any recommendations for reputable guides would be appreciated. Thank you for your time and cheers
