My LO is 12 weeks and I am now officially a SAHM. I've worked my way up in the fashion industry for the past 6 years with a great salary and while I loved t at first it became a love hate relationship. Very stressful, anxiety led me to go on Zoloft as I would clench jaw and have TMJ at night. When I was actually able to do my job I loved it, but most of the time it was women higher than me giving their opinions and changing minds all the time. I always thought I may want to be a SAHM and once home with my little girl the choice was pretty clear. Now that I have told my boss and talked to HR to ..read more

I have had a work laptop for the last nine years. I used it some at home for personal use when I just need to search for something. When my next child is born I will become a stay-at-home mom. I am wondering what I should purchase. I have an iPhone 4s, but would like something bigger for browsing. Any input is appreciated ..read more

Reading parents magazine and they have these ads for work from home. Executivemoms.biz and Buildingdreams4us are these legit? What kind of jobs/tasks are here? Doesn't say it on the sites, I'm just curious. If I could get off from work for a while at least I could still make alittle bit of money on the side ..read more

Anxiety and breast feeding

I think I want to quit breastfeeding so I can go back on my anxiety medication (can’t breastfeed while on this medication) but feel super guilty about it. I have been taking out my frustration and annoyance on my toddler and husband and it’s not fair to them but also feeling guilty for giving my baby formula when this is the first time I have successfully started to make milk. All I want is to feel semi normal again and go back to being their “happy” mom and spouse. Husband supports any decision I make.  Any thoughts? I’m at a crossroads.  Xoxo ..read more

I see you strolling I see you mama! I see you. I was you. You’re a mess, there’s no way of sugar coating it. Your hair… I mean when’s the last time you washed it? It’s greasy and bless it, however you were able to knot it on your head is how it will stay all day. I suppose you’re lucky you even found a hair tie with the current disarray of your home. Your shirt is old and sized to your pre baby body. It’s decorated with spit up and maybe even some crumbs from the meal you ate cold, no SCARFED cold. It’s not healthy and you haven’t meal prepped or made a proper grocery list in… well since this ..read more

Please no judgement.  I'm a newish mom. My baby is 21 almost 22months old. We have never had her on a schedule. We have a set routine essentially: wake up, breakfast, play, snacks, play, lunch, nap, wake up, snack, play, dinner, bath, bedtime. But we have never set a specific schedule because of sleep regression. She sleeps 8-12 hours straight at bed time and naps 2 hours at nap time. This way just seems to work better for us. Shes happy, lets me clean and take care of what i need to. The few times I've tried setting a schedule and forcing her to wake up at 7am, to follow schedules ive se ..read more

Hi there. I can’t even believe I am writing this but here I go. I’m 15 weeks pregnant and I had a CVS done and we just found out our baby tested positive for Cystic Fibrosis. We are now left with the choice to either continue or not continue with our pregnancy. I never thought I’d find myself in this position. I feel so alone. If anyone has gone through something like this please share your story ..read more

Anxiety

Okay this is a question for the MOMMAS with anxiety.  I'll start by saying I wasn't an anxious person growing up, or even after my first born (who is now 5 years old). With our Nov 2021 baby, I wasn't anxious daily either. Fast forward to the last year and a half, I'm now an incredibly anxious person and it's driving me nuts and making me sad.  My anxiety ALL revolves around my son's and their health. If one of them even seems a little 'off' my mind starts racing; I'm taking temperatures constantly watching them like a hawk, and over analyzing every single thing. My logical brain k ..read more
