LA is a huge city with lots of things to do and a lot of people. Where are some good places to meet people and make friends?

If you had the free time to explore whatever you wanted in this city, where would you go? I am a 32m and have lived here for 4 years. Specifically want to be as relaxed as possible as my last job was insanely stressful. I have a little bit of spending money but not much as I want to be responsible. Comedy Clubs, Hikes, Beaches, Museums?

So I've grown in LA all my life and worked in the area for many years. I have always been mistaken for being Mexican and I understand the reasoning since I totally look Mexican. The thing is, I'm Native American and my family is from Lakota Sioux tribe. I don't speak fluent Spanish unfortunately even though I have picked up a few words here and there over the years.

Title. It seems like Teslas have a much higher frequency of temporary license plates than any other car I see. Is there a reason for this?
ETA: and I’m talking about OLD temporary plates … ones that are expired.

Hi! Sorry if this gets posted too often, but I’m trying to know more about contemporary LA — mainly its political history and subcultures. What would you recommend?

Hey. 25M with a vocal background, looking for a secular, casual choir to join somewhere around West LA. Pretty flexible on the style of music, just looking to sing more and make some friends.
Been eyeing the universities; I reached out to the USC University Chorus a couple times via email but never heard back, and the UCLA choir seems to be student-only to my understanding.
Any recommendations? Thanks.
