I’ve been really into Romantic Suspense books lately, and I had high expectations for Juno Rushdan’s latest series, Cowboy State Lawmen: Duty and Honor. It’s a spin-off of her Cowboy State Lawmen series, which I haven’t read yet, but I’m definitely planning to read soon. Lost in Little Havana is an action-packed Romantic Suspense that made me feel like I was actually in Miami with the characters trying to solve the case with them. Detective Trey Gonzalez is investigating a trafficking ring when his partner is murdered at a Miami nightclub. In comes Detective Roni Lopez, who has been tasked with assisting Trey in his investigation. She has two issues, though, while working with Trey. I finally made time to read Known, the last installment in Kendra Elliot’s Bone Secrets series. This series was the first one I read from Kendra Elliot, and thanks to the Reading Challenge (Finishing the Series), I was able to finish it.  I remembered the MMC, Chris Jacobs, being introduced in Buried (the third installment), and I was glad to know he was getting his story in Known.
