While wedding planning is fun, it's also fun to talk about and make recommendations for the real fun which comes after the wedding. The honeymoon! All couples welcome.

I am giving my son and his future wife a honeymoon for 7 days next May. My budget is $5k-$6k max for the major expenses (airfare from USA, hotel & rental car). Neither person enjoys hot weather(they both sweat!), but when I Google honeymoon locations, all the top recommendations seem to be beach/tropical. I also looked at Iceland, the Azores, and Norway, but prices are crazy high. They are not fancy people...both enjoy nature and being active, but they are not athletic or big risk takers. Any suggestions?

A lot of alternatives are like 20+ hour flights from Armenia, sadly our geographical position is bad... Maldives is the only close one with a direct flight, but we are both christian and the customs confiscate all christian symbols upon arrival... what other places do you guys recommend that feel like carribean islands with the overwater bungalows?
Thank you in advance

Planning a mini-moon in June 2025 for a 7 days. We are in Los Angeles. Plan for Europe (Italy, Greece, etc) for our honeymoon in September 2025. We're looking for suggestions on places to go to relax along the coast or waters in addition to fine dining and good food (Michelin restaurants a plus)! We plan to use our travel points (we have alot), so no budget really. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Hey y’all!!
So my fiancé and I are planning to be married in February/January of 2025.
I’m thinking of ideas for a honeymoon but am kinda curious if y’all can give any input as well. Some of them are definitely a little bit more of a stretch of the budget, but I’m open to any and all.
So far on the cheaper side.
• Helen, GA • Savannah, GA • Charleston, SC • A ski lodge of some sort.
In the middle.
Royal Caribbean Aruba Cancun Bahamas Puerto Rico
On the high end.
Bali Celebrity Cruise Rome

Hello! Currently getting myself excited for our honeymoon in May of next year. :) We know we definitely want to spend some time in Lake Como, and then take the Bernina Express into Switzerland. We’re trying to decide if we should stay somewhere cool in Switzerland for a few days, or take the express back to Lake Como as a day trip and then onto another city. That train can drop off either in Saint Moritz or Chur.
Wherever we go after will most likely be the last part of our trip, so we’ll need to get to an airport after where we can head back to the US. We’re mostly looking to relax and see s ..read more

Looking for somewhere hot enough to sun bathe in this November. All inclusive, ten days. Under £3000, which I thought was a lot, but after looking at some of these posts I’m worried this won’t get us very far! We’re in the UK - thinking Mexico/Caribbean, but open to other suggestions!
