I am giving my son and his future wife a honeymoon for 7 days next May. My budget is $5k-$6k max for the major expenses (airfare from USA, hotel & rental car). Neither person enjoys hot weather(they both sweat!), but when I Google honeymoon locations, all the top recommendations seem to be beach/tropical. Hello! Currently getting myself excited for our honeymoon in May of next year. :) We know we definitely want to spend some time in Lake Como, and then take the Bernina Express into Switzerland. We’re trying to decide if we should stay somewhere cool in Switzerland for a few days, or take the express back to Lake Como as a day trip and then onto another city.
