I was born in the maritime states of Canada and when I was 6 my family relocated across the ocean to Co. Down.
Immediately I was marked out as the kid with the Canadian accent. Everywhere I went this was always commented on. When I was 8 I returned to Canada with my family to visit. To my shock everywhere I went, everyone made the same comment- how Irish I sounded.

We feel we lack something. It’s a common feeling, seemingly endemic to human nature, something is lacking – in us, in the world, in others. We don’t feel we have ‘made it’ and therefore we strive to find a fullness we currently lack.
And many Christians feel like this in their walk with God, we might know we’re Christians but we feel there is something ‘more’ to be had – there is a greater fullness to be experienced, or a greater level of Christianity which we must strive to attain.
