Any recommendations within about 30 minutes of greater Milwaukee? I know Estabrook Park and Grant Park are doable, but we’d like to get out of the area for a day. Looking mostly for bass and panfish. Currently considering Mukwonago River and the Fox. Any thoughts are appreciated! submitted by /u/Lazy_Measurement_101 [visit reddit] [comments ..read more

Been coming to my wife’s family home up here in Minong on Lake Gilmore for the past 15 years …8-9 different families descend on this home every year at the same time and us dads have a half ass fishing contest…most fish and biggest fish…problem is, we barely catch anything…we catch tiny small mouth, some large mouth and some smaller northern…but nothing that has ever made any of us go WOW…this lake dead or are we just terrible? Tips? Tricks? Thanks! submitted by /u/Gandalf4158 [visit reddit] [comments ..read more

I'm going to be in Wisconsin for the Phish concerts at Alpine Valley later this month and I'm looking to do some fishing in my off time. I am most interested in Walleye but also possibly interested in Bass or Muskie. I am flying into Chicago and staying at Snug Harbor Inn near Delavan. Snug Harbor is on Turtle Lake, I don't think they have Walleye unless someone knows otherwise? I am first looking for somewhere I can do some bank fishing when I get off the plane at night. Somewhere that isn't too far from Chicago and would have safe/accessible bank fishing where the Walleye are still biting a ..read more

I'm located north of Milwaukee and South of Green Bay. I don't have access to a boat. Any good areas for shore fishing? Or is someone willing to take me out on a boat? I love bass fishing most. Wouldn't mind trying catfishing. submitted by /u/AdIll3674 [visit reddit] [comments ..read more

I'm in a suburb of Milwauke and don't get out fishing enough. I don't have a boat and could use some recommendations if anyone has any good shore fishing locations on surrounding lakes/rivers/etc. I know of a couple places on the Milwaukee and Menomonee rivers but haven't had huge luck at them. submitted by /u/TOaFK [visit reddit] [comments ..read more
