Conshohocken resident here. I am sort of over fishing for stocked Trout over at Wissahickon Creek in Flourtown. Any good areas in Montgomery County to catch some good sized Smallmouth-Largemouth Bass and Carp? I had one lucky day catching a decent sized Smallmouth in Wissahickon Creek. Are there Carp in there? I've also fished Oreland Reservoir. You don’t need to list your specific spots, but was curious if there were places to fish from the bank, or if you needed a kayak to catch these fish. My husband’s birthday is coming up and I’m looking at the 13 fishing Kalon Blackout spinner reel. The reviews I’ve read say that it’s a decent reel. I got him the 13 fishing 7’1 fate black spinner rod. The reel has multiple different sizes available and I’m trying to figure out which size would be best for the rod.
