A Call to Serve
The Reunion Church

What does the call to serve look like for a Christian church today? First, it is critical to note that the serving community is not an end in itself. An inward-looking community (self-serving) will eventually implode. Christ gathered his disciples together to serve a purpose larger than themselves, to pioneer God’s coming reign in which all things will be reconciled.  The post A Call to Serve appeared first on The Reunion Church | Non-denominational Church Peoria, AZ ..read more

Serving God and One Another
The Reunion Church
by Dr. Victoria Isaac
1w ago
We cannot serve God if we do not follow Him - we will not follow Him if we do not love Him as He loves us - this is literal, not figurative or metaphorical.  God not only invites us but desires for us to love our life in Him more than we love our life in this world.  The post Serving God and One Another appeared first on The Reunion Church | Non-denominational Church Peoria, AZ ..read more

The Reunion Church

anuary has absolutely flown by! We were blessed with God answering our prayers for healing for Pastor Steve’s detached retina. And, thank you to everyone who prayed for “Chicago Donnie”, who had very serious AND very successful surgery. The Movement youth had a fruitful winter camp, and Pastor Gary Hay, a long-time friend of the Reunion Church, spent some time with us, delivering a powerful message on how to faithfully walk with God. The “Where Do You Sit, Where Do You Serve” message from Pastor Steve has resonated on so many levels. God is moving people forward to serve in new ways, and some ..read more

"As human beings, we discover that love can come to us in many ways, but the greatest love - God's love, comes to us only in Christ. Using His example in response to the suffering and afflicted, there is no exploitation of hurting souls. In Christ, we do not dehumanize people regardless of their circumstances. We see no one person or persons as pitiful or victims, but as someone to love at the very moment of attention. There are many gifts that Christ came to earth to give to us – but this is the one gift that He asks us to give to one another. When we learn to love this way, we learn to see one ..read more
