As we know the Riverlea Housing Development has been taking place prior to 2023 and there has been a cry out for public transport development to occur. However, what had happened in order to introduce this it meant reducing the route 900 as a stand-alone route from Salisbury to Virginia but extending it to the Riverlea Estate. Then the new route 450 was probably a tag onto to an existing route (which one anyone’s guess) and then that was extended to Riverlea Estate. It was alluded to in a post in the NSW subforum (among several others in that thread) that Bustech appear to be experiencing delays in bodying buses for customers - however as you'll notice, there was some debate as to whether this was the delayed arrival of Scania chassis or a hold-up with Bustech themselves. If extra buses aren't forthcoming, I guess the changes will have to be postponed, or watered down in peak periods until such a time as enough buses become available.
