I've had this happen the last two times I've driven. I'll review my income at night, and notice someone, both times the nicest person I encountered, have removed their tips after delivery. I call support, ask for compensation, get transfer ed 8-10 times, and am ultimately rejected because tip baiting is allowed. This was a totally normal order for 11 miles. No catering, nothing out of the ordinary. 2 meals from a normal restaurant. I’ve never ever EVER seen a fare this large. Any ideas? Also: the food was ready when I got there, so it’s not like it was long waits because everything was closing. Was around 8:45 PM (most places here close at 9). I got off my “normal” job an hour early tonight, so I decided to make a few deliveries. I made 4 trips, and as stated all 4 were completed. I have become a much more frequent customer of Uber eats in the last couple of years. My hourly wage is high enough that if I have to take an hour to go to the store and come back, I’ve lost around $200. I cannot emphasize how absolutely important you all are in this new economy. I cannot do what I do if you do not do what you do. I’m not sure if people actually realize the tremendous service and value that you all provide for us.
