Thinking of putting a clawfoot tub in a standard tub space. But how do you clean behind it? I would tile the complete enclosure, but the clearance between tub & tile wall would be narrow...right? What's the best way to do it?

Saw this bathroom in a burger joint near Nashville, TN. Thought the layout of the bathroom and wallpaper was unique. Not sure if this is a place to share public bathrooms but here it is.

So I have been looking for a countertop with a lip ...a no-spill edge. Because I am so sick of water flowing onto the floor.
I usually lay a towel permanently on the corner but am sick of doing it. I tried ordering a silicone edge thing to stick on but it looked awful and would only attract mold. Cannot caulk along the edge cuz it won't stick too.
There are many synthetic materials that countertops are made from; surely there exists something to prevent spillage??! But I cannot find anything!
Anyone have any suggestions? Thank you!

There’s this on the bottom of my parents bathtub that will not come off regardless of how hard I scrub. It’s got a rough texture and a bath mat refuses to stick to it. The orangey area looks like rust but what is the rest? Is there a way to get rid of it? (Sorry for the crappy pictures, the lighting in the bathroom is not the greatest!)

And how do we clean it, or care for it? My friend just bought this house and moved in. The house is 100 years old if that helps, but we assume the bathroom was remodeled.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
