Hey everyone,
I have a pretty messed up tub that I need to fix, and I'm hoping to get some advice on how to do it. I've attached pictures of the damage and the Devcon Metal Patch & Fill (Charcoal Gray) that I plan to use for the repair.
Has anyone used this product before? If so, could you guide me through the process or share any tips for the best results? Any advice on surface preparation, application, and curing would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks in advance for your help ..read more

Hi
I have a 22mm hot and cold water supply to new bath. The pipes finish with compression valves. I need a 500 mm tap connector hose to connect with half inch thread on the new bath tap. All the connectors at the main plumb merchants are 22mm x 3/4 inch. No one seems able to answer question.
Any advice much appreciated ..read more

My existing en-suite layout is awful. Tiny cubicle and very cramped. I had thought of loosing the large basin, for a corner basin or one in a toilet tank design to create more space.
Loosing the 740x740 cubicle for either a large open plan tray and a glass side panel.
The prices for a tray, enclosure and retile have been far higher £2.5k to £4k than anticipated so maybe the full wet room type makeover is better. Does anyone have any advice ..read more

Hi, I have a stopcock in my closet at my flat, but despite me turning it clockwise all the way, this doesn't seem to be stopping the flow of water.
Is there anyway I can check if that truly is the stopcock and if not, is there a way I can find the actual one?
I just want to stop the water flow temporarily so I can change my shower valve ..read more

Hi folks
Do you guys fit your own timber panels or get a chippy in?
A lad I know has fitted one of the mdf panels with the 100mm skirting trim using 2 battens either end of the bath. Customer is refusing to pay as it bows slightly when touched.
Do you guys build a frame if you do it yourself?
Cheers ..read more

I have ceramic basin (half sphere bowl!) to fit onto composite marble top ( 15mm thick), I am wondering if the weight of basin ( about 6/7kg!) will create point load, and potential lead to cracking. Should the worktop have supporting struts to better support basin and help prevent failure ..read more
