Hello All, Apologies if this question has been asked before. I searched and couldn't find it. Is is possible for an LNB to be designed to capture and distribute both C Band and KU Band signals in the same structure? Thus having multiple outputs with one+ distributing the C Band and the other outputs wit one+ distributing the KU Band. Do any LNBs exist like this or would it be possible to manufacture such an LNB ..read more

Hi, I am going to try relocating my Winegard 3m dish from 68.5E to 46E. I unfortunately have few tools, apart from a techno mate receiver and some phone apps. Does anyone know the strongest TP I can try get a fix on? I will be trying to get the Africa & Europe Beams. Many thanks ..read more

A friend will be re-installing/re-aligning my Dish next month as I am sick of getting nothing from 4W, when I know I used to get some of the Beams (also lost ENTV on 5W). My East Arc is set up stronger at Present (Badr4 26E superb even in bad weather). But I think we Aligned on 13E and adjusted on 26E last time, need to do it right on 0.8W/1W this time (my reception Satellite Arc is generally 45E to 46W (telegraph pole obstructing a big arc). I seem to remember the Baltic Beams were the... Read more ..read more

Not sure if this is right thread but... I have had a 10 ft fiberglass for about 9 years now and have had various issues over the years. Some drive you crazy and others not so much. The last week or so has been frustrating. We had a large windstorm for about 3 days. Knocked out power and internet for days. I now have a packet loss problem on DVB Dream. Signal good and quality good but picture good for a few then blocky and green for a few. It repeats over and over again. Tried multiple... Read more ..read more

40.5W ESPN (Feed/Scalar)

The ESPN frequency from 40.5W seems to get a bit of interest? On a PF dish it has a signal level that varies depending how close the feed is to the dish and how far along the feed the scalar is. There is a table below that shows the changes in signal level I measured today when adjusting the feed postion and the scalar for a PF dish. Key: F (0) = focal distance of dish F - 5mm = feed is 5mm closer to the dish than the focal distance F + 10mm = feed is 10mm further away from the dish than... Read more ..read more
