Right now I am running 8 dishes, 5 BUDS and 3 Ku Band dishes. My 8 way switch is full, but I am thinking of adding one or two more dishes to the mix. I have access to a 12 foot Paraclipse and a 12 footer of an unknown brand. Both are in excellent condition and I was wondering if there are switches out there with more than 8 ports and if not, what's the best way to go about adding these dishes to my collection? Also, are there any FTA UHD channels available. I know NASA had at least one... Read more ..read more

Hi, I am new to this site. I have a complete 10 ft C band satellite system with a Uniden Sq560 receiver that has not been used for at least 20 years. I bought it new in late 1996 and used it until analog C band was discontinued in the early 2000's. I unplugged the receiver from the wall outlet back then and left everything hooked up. I now want to use it for FTA reception however when I plug it in, the clock on the display lights up but the receiver keeps turning itself off after a few... Read more ..read more

A few months ago I purchased a new Venture actuator to replace the broken Super Jack on my 10' Unimesh. It's powered by a GBox, which never lost count with the previous motor. When I say 'lost count' or 'position changing', I mean that if I move away from any given satellite and come back, it is in a different position. I use 121W (my south satellite) as the "0" position. After a day of use, 121W is around -100 ! Its so bad its unusable. To move the dish, I simply use the GBox remote... Read more ..read more

Hey guys. Hopefully you can help me here. So I watch these guys on youtube, am a huge fan and they're nearby. They are putting on an event and live streaming it. They have done so in the past and have had internet issues causing feed issues. They asked if anyone has a satellite truck so they can backhaul over C-Band to their CDN (JWPlayer). I dont have a truck but I have a 1.8 Prodelin that they can have (if that's sufficient). My question is can I transmit with the 1.8m and if so... Read more ..read more

With all of the repositioning, are there any active C or Ku band transponders are 137w or 139w? Even if its all encrypted, I figure I might as well save the positioning. If not, at least I'm good from 55w-133w ..read more
