Hi, I'm Beverley Joy of Simply Story Poetry. A mask of deception crumbles exposing the truth. I wrote this poem many years ago. It depicts the moment when a friend reveals a truth about themselves that comes as a surprise. But as the relationship is solid, both parties realize that truth deepens the bond of friendship.
