Cycling BC is saddened to hear news of the passing of former track cycling Olympian and world champion, Gordon Singleton of Niagara Falls, Ontario. Singleton passed at the age of 67 after a fight with prostate cancer. The Para-Cycling Track World Championships returned to the city of Rio De Janeiro in Brazil from March 20-24, 2024, where Canadian Para-cyclists shone bright and mighty, racking up a total of four medals, with one of its standout performers being Mel Pemble from Victoria, BC.
