I'm not really a Filson guy, as their prices are pretty steep. But I know they make good, quality stuff. I've had my eye for several years though, on their Skagit Waterfowl Jacket. For decades the family guys have gone on an extended weekend-plus fishing trip each May. The past 20 years or so, we have opted for flyfishing. This year, we decided to go up north, back to a lake we used to go to to try for some bigger trout. It paid off! The "basic" rainbows were really plump 12-14 inchers. I've wanted to try a 20 gauge for awhile now. In my first few years of hunting back in the 70's, I switched back and forth between my 12 gauge Browning Side-by-Side and an old 20 gauge Mossberg Pump.
