Guys, I know Sitka gear is pricey but I bought the Hudson gtx cap last year, used it starting last December in the NOrth east cold winds of NW WA, coming out of Canada and at 61, this is the most comfortable and warm hunting cap I've ever had. the high tech stuff won't make your head sweat like thinsulate. it adjusts in the back of the cap to keep it snug. the lining is fluffy comfortable. if you need a great cap under 100.00 it is money well spent ..read more

Possible relocation to Tri-Cities area

My wife and I have received job offers in Richland and are weighing our options. We currently live in SE New Mexico and while the duck hunting isn't world class it is almost exclusively on public land and in a season I might see 2 - 3 other groups of people hunting ducks. I average about 30 days of duck hunting a season and usually take around 60 birds. Not great but not as bad as North Georgia where I started duck hunting. What is the public hunting like within a couple of hundred miles... Possible relocation to Tri-Cities area ..read more

Hi there! 25 yr old looking for a partner near King County. Only get to hunt about 2 times a season as my buddies are the only ones with boats and dogs. Been hunting for about 5 years, total of 10 or so hunts. Looking to hunt a bit more frequently, closer to the King County area. I'm not skilled in calling, but trying to learn. I do not have a dog or boat. PM me if you're looking for a new partner, or have an extra spot for a hunt coming up ..read more

Hey all! I’m in the early stages of planning a Thanksgiving week trip to Olympia, WA (from Ohio) to visit my brother and his family. He and I are both Army vets, and our other brother is active duty Navy (in Florida) and will be joining us after just returning home from a deployment. They’re both brand new to waterfowling, and I’m super excited to introduce them to my passion and share the time with them, since we don’t all get together very often. I’m planning to haul my boat out there... Visiting Washington! Please help ..read more
