Lakes In/Near South Fulton
I currently live in South Fulton. I am looking for a lake to take my motorized boat on. I know the big lakes around like West Point, Lanier, Allatoona…. But I’m looking for smaller lakes that may be near by to take a boat on. Anyone have suggestions. Mainly bass fishing although I’m good with whatever bites even the trees haha.

Hi all,
I have recently moved from the UK to the Braselton area and i brought with me some fly fishing gear and also some spinning stuff. I would like to get some fishing done around here and if im honest i dont mind what i catch right now, big or small lol. I would also like to meet up with some people into the same things as i dont have any buddies here as of yet ?
If anyone has any advice that would be great.
Thanks

Hello from what I’ve read Georgia has ambiguous rules on waterways. As an example, if I understand correctly, creeks and streams can be private property which completely busts any plans I had. Where I come from waterways are state property and the public has no restrictions walking or floating them.
That said:
I’ve only fished for large and small bass, trout, pan fish on the past. Really would love to fish for a new species. I have not learned how to fly fish yet.
I have a small boy that is learning and loves to fish but we haven’t had any luck on public ponds or ponds next to apartments.

Anyone know if the pond is fishable? There's no information on it other than fishy photos on Google. I know there's river access there but I'm just interested in the pond itself. Thanks in advance!
