Lately i have been targeted. All i can say is that i work in the main building at Sweetwater. But i feel like i am outcasted by my management and micromanaged. Others make similar mistakes or have comparable actions to me but only i get punished/called out. What should i do? submitted by /u/bricked_down [visit reddit] [comments ..read more

Sweetwater Dishonesty and Lies

Hi, this is a throwaway account so FYI. I work in Sweetwater, I work in the customer pick up area which is included in the store. My managers treats me like shit and my wages reflect the way I am treated. I literally do everything in my power to make things right and work hard. The store is just horrible as-well, the in store sales engineers are paid LESS then the upstairs ones. (Mind you the in-store ones actually interact with customers and do the heavy lifting.) Other coworkers have been told "well if you don't like it just leave" when they have brought up issues in a professional manner ..read more

Anyone out there, someone that is an engineer or scientist, tech minded, intelligent that doesn't want to be a wage slave anymore? I have a bunch of actionable plans, just need someone with good work acumen to partner up. submitted by /u/AlienIntelligencia [visit reddit] [comments ..read more

Does anyone know of any abandoned buildings in or around the area of Anderson and Alexandria?

I've kind of gotten into trying to do some urbex here recently with a few local abandoned building and I've begun to really enjoy doing it. Whether I feel like I'm living in a lost part of our society, or putting myself in the shoes of the past inhabitants of the buildings it's become somewhat of a surreal experience to explore abandoned buildings. So if anyone knows any good sites that are known to be abandoned with at least one acces point to get inside, or if you know of any places like this that are haunted, I would really appreciate some suggestions! submitted by /u/Jim_w_pickens [visit ..read more

Can a protective order get issued if I’ve never threatened or threatened to harm someone or actually harmed them?

So I have a boyfriend and his ex baby mama has filed a protective order against me for some reason even though I have never threatened her or threatened to hurt her or ever actually hurt her, let alone say anything mean to this woman. I honestly just tried to avoid her at all costs. if anything she is the one that has threatened me many times over text and in person but of course I haven’t done anything about it. Can a protection order actually get issued if I’ve never done anything to threaten or harm this woman? submitted by /u/Jeleighbean1999 [visit reddit] [comments ..read more

I want to hear your peaks and pits about Indiana

We are considering moving to IN for employment. My husband grew up there, but I’ve never moved from my home state (TX). I want to hear everyone’s favorite thing about the state, and what they dislike most about it. Rules of the game: one best and one worst thing per comment, and it can’t be political. I’ve heard plenty about the politics. :) submitted by /u/jlovesw102222 [visit reddit] [comments ..read more

Hi. I volunteer for a non-profit that organizes free, grief/bereavement support camps for children, age 7 - 17, who lost a parent, sibling, care taker, or other loved one/family member. It's called Comfort Zone Camp. They have an upcoming camp specifically for children of firefighters, partnered with NFFF - National Fallen Firefighters Foundation. It'll be in Indiana. If anyone knows of any family who might benefit from this program, please feel free to share about it. Again, it's a free camp -- no cost to attend. https://www.firehero.org/event/2024-hal-bruno-camps https://www.firehero.org/re ..read more
