When Antonio and I decided to cut back on weddings and only book those that felt right in our souls, Shelbi and Joe were the first couple we said a resounding YES to. We knew immediately that this wedding was one of those weddings that perfectly align with how we want to spend our working time. And we were not wrong! Shelbi and Joe’s wedding at Scioto Audubon Metro Park was perfection in every way. The unofficial theme of the wedding was JOY. From Shelbi’s first look with her adorable grandparents to Joe’s first dance with his mom. From the bold florals and color scheme to wedding party jello ..read more

It’s here! It’s finally here! My last wedding of 2023! I can’t imagine closing out the year in any other way than with Jordyn and Kyle’s magical wedding celebration at the Chapel of the Immaculate Conception and Dayton Art Institute. From a tearful first look where they exchanged specially engraved rings to a private vow ceremony surrounded by art, Jordyn and Kyle included so many special events in their day. They kicked off their reception with a drinking game, shared a drink at the spot where they had their first date, and toasted family and friends at a brewery before their reception. The d ..read more

Sierra and Danielle’s wedding at The Estate at New Albany was just as expected – classic, romantic, and so much fun. They packed so many sweet and special events into their day – gift giving, a first touch, first looks with parents, an intimate ceremony, the shoe game, a group photo hop, and a sparkler exit. They got ready with their parents. Danielle took a shot with her grandmother and Sierra’s grandmother gave a speech. Danielle’s parents won the anniversary dance. The whole day was centered around love, fun, and their favorite people and it was absolutely perfect. Here are some of my ..read more

There’s the kind of couple that I want to work with for life. And there’s the kind of wedding that I want to work for life. And then…there’s the kind of couple who has the kind of wedding that I want to work for life. And that couple is Erin and Crystal. Erin and Crystal’s wedding at The Kitchen was one of my favorites of 2023, and honestly, the kind of wedding that I’m trying to attract in 2024 and beyond. It was small, it was creative, it was unique, it was fun, it was full of DELICIOUS food, and it was the union of the kindest, smartest, most interesting people around. Here are some of my f ..read more

Erika and Matt’s gorgeous spring wedding at Franklin Park Conservatory was absolute perfection. There is honestly no better time to get married at Franklin Park than spring when the flowers are blooming and it looks like a literal dream. And that’s exactly what Erika and Matt’s wedding day was: a literal dream. From their first look on a secluded tree lined pathway to Erika’s first look with her daughter to the sun soaked ceremony and the packed dance floor, the day was perfect. Hocking Hills. A super cool couple. A gorgeous summer morning. No one else around. PERFECTION. Kate and Josh are so cool. Like intimidatingly cool. They’re musicians, they’re DIYers, they’re foodies, gardeners, crafters, and gamers. They’re devoted parents to Josh’s daughter and devoted partners to each other. And, they got engaged at Hocking Hills, in the exact spot of some of these photos actually. So, not only are they cool, but they win extra points for getting engaged at the place where Antonio and I met AND having their engagement photos done at the same place Antonio and I did ours. Amanda and David are the cutest. That’s it. That’s the post. JK!!! (Do people still say that?) But really, these two are so cute, so smiley, and so obsessed with each other. They’re also pretty cool people. I mean, they’re HELICOPTER PILOTS. Like, what?! That’s awesome! That’s also what brought them together: a mutual love for aviation. So sweet. Amanda and David, who live on the east coast, came back to Ohio for the holidays. We were so lucky to be able to squeeze them in for engagement photos during the arctic blast that hit right at Christmas. It may have been freeeeeezing, but it was so wo ..read more

Mackenzie and Jimi’s wedding at Station 67 was our last wedding of 2022! It was the perfect way to close out the year: sweet, down to earth, and so fun! Mackenzie and Jimi are high school sweethearts. They met while in marching band and started dating on November 12, 2012, so it was only fitting that they get married on November 12, 2022. I can’t think of a better way to celebrate a 10th anniversary! Mackenzie and Jimi’s intimate wedding at Station 67 was a beautiful fall rustic theme. Deep purples, burnt oranges, and greenery perfectly complimented the classic architecture and urban vibe. The ..read more
