Adelaide Zoo houses a Daughter Born At Adelaide to a male imported from Singapore Zoo in 1997 [died 2008] and a female from Henry Doorly Zoo (USA) in 1998 [still at Adelaide]. I visited Adelaide Zoo on the 18/07/2024, and made note of every species I saw, or that was signed. I likely missed a few species due to not spending a huge amount of time at every enclosure/aviary, so I do apologise for that. Does anyone have any info on the old zoo at Coolangatta? -period it was open? Gumbuya Park have welcomed four Mountain Pygmy Possum joeys (more joeys are expected in the near future as well). I finally got to visit Sydney Aquarium last weekend. It was quite impressive - some very good displays there. Not a lot of exotic fish, mostly focussing on Australian fish - not that this is a problem, there were a LOT of tourists there who I'm sure would love to see our local marine life.
