I’m receiving conflicting information about whether the Burris Oracle 2 is legal to hunt with during archery season in Nevada. Does anyone know one way or another?

Hey y'all. I'll looking for literally any tips or spots you can share. I have tried every week for about 6 months now and no luck. I have tried around Coyote Springs, Arizona North of Lake Havasu, south off Vegas down the 15fwy around Solan, down highway 93 and 95 south of Vegas, and North of Vegas. And a few other places that I can't think of right now. The only place I've seen a rabbit is 1 in Arizona North of Havasu around maybe Doland Springs? And another on 95 south of Vegas around "Highland Range Crucial Bighorn Habbitat" Besides that I have not seen any other rabbits. Again I'm going o ..read more

Myself and a few coworkers want to make it out this year to duck hunt. None of us have ever duck hunted and we could use a little help. Not looking for your honey holes or secret spots. But I would appreciate it if you guys (and gals) could help point us to some decent areas and any tips and tricks that would be helpful to some new comers. We are all hunters, just never duck hunted. We are located in Vegas and willing to drive if the area is worth it. Thanks for the help!

Come out and raise funds for habitat, meet others with a shared love of the uplands, and fund out about how to get involved with future projects.

It’s the last weekend, anybody have any public land spots where I might get a shot at a duck? Without access to private land, I’ve been striking out a lot lately, getting a bit discouraged

An entire section of the park has been reserved for people to bring their bird dogs, eat some pizza (no charge), meet other upland and waterfowl hunters, and raise funds for future habitat improvement projects.
Items being raffled include a Yeti cooler, a two person bird hunt at Big Cottonwood Game Ranch, a dog handler/training bag filled with supplies, a Ruff-Land Water Hole with two bird dog themed aluminum water bottles, and more.
The event is free to attend, and sign up is ..read more

I haven’t hunted Washoe Lake in about 10 years. Before, the south end was open to hunting, but now I think it’s private or closed for hunting.
Anyway, my buddy moved here and wants to get into waterfowl hunting. I want to take him out to Washoe this weekend just to get a feel for how it’s done. We don’t have any deeks, he probably doesn’t even have good camo. Really, just looking for anywhere we can park, get to a spot, watch the sunrise, and hope a few ducks fly by.
Does anyone have any recommendations? Thanks!

The mild winter with a wet spring this year have made conditions right for good hatch and survival numbers.
