Hello All, Would anyone be able to recommend someone who can do custom metal fabrication in the Exeter area? I am also requesting opinions on this idea. My Wrangler has a snow plow attachment, and I have been recently thinking about how I might put those mount points to further use. What I am considering is a custom front skid that I can attach and detach using those same mount points. Black Forest green, from a 2012 Sahara. Tinted windows. Has been off since 2019. Sitting on a pallet. Has collected pine needles and discoloring of the white interior. That will wash off with Starbright or a bleach mix. I know the Starbright worked last time I tried. Wiper and defrost worked when removed. Located in Lebanon NH. Can't deliver. for all of you JK owners out there.... Not sure if this applies to all years but... I have a 2008 JK 2dr. After wheeling earlier this year had some issues with the steering. Seems if I turned the wheel all the way to lock on the right it would want to return left and finally would pop and then be able to turn again. All the steering parts were fine so it was somewhere else. Replaced PS pump, nope. After some deep research it turns out that the PS hose decays from the INSIDE causing debris to interfere with the steering box. I've been eyeing some rock sliders for my Toyota lately, but once I add in shipping costs and then the const of bringing it to a shop to have them welded on things start to get pretty cost prohibitive. Anyone know of any good welding/off-road shops close to central New Hampshire (or Vermont) that can design and build a set of rock sliders? Surely there's a place here in New Hampshire that can build and install something decent for less than what one would take to ship.
