Hey guys. I tend to roam around the foothills, and the edgewood side of the mountains, sometimes out past Tijeras. I rarely get more than 30 minutes outside of Albuquerque but I was wondering what the best guide book for plant ID and or wild edibles was for our area? I have been skimming Amazon but haven't seen anything that looks focused on our turf, or the Southwest in general. Suggestions ..read more

This picture is from another post on Facebook from about roughly 30 miles Edgewood NM of a fire at Las Vegas NM. Calf canyon/Hermit Peaks fire was at 270 thousand acres or 421 square miles as of Friday.
