Meet Dr. Mubarak, an orthodontist based in Al Jahrah, Kuwait, who took the road less travelled. Al Jahrah was not the place where dental careers were built in Kuwait. It was located in the northernmost area of the country with a high older population. If you wanted to grow, this was not where you practised.
But this is where his story was to be built. He would go on to not only pave the way for access to quality dental care but be one of the pioneers of remote dentistry in the region, with almost half of his patients outside his modest city.
