ALAMO, Nev. (KOLO) - The Nevada Department of Wildlife is looking for two people accused of illegally dumping turkeys in eastern Nevada.
NDOW says the pair dumped around 25 turkeys onto the Key Pittman Wildlife Management Area, around 110 miles north of Las Vegas, on April 9.
Game Wardens were called to that area and found them dumped at the south end of Nesbit Lake on the Wildlife Management Area. The wardens were able to find a witness who told them they saw a white truck with a crew cab...

I was told that NDOW is raising the quota on Antelope by 200 tags this year. Probably not for other animals though. I hope it's true and GOOD LUCK to all that apply for big game tags ..read more

Good evening all. I’m hoping to make a trip down to fish Pyramid with a couple of friends. I have a cutthroat trout itch I’d like to scratch. Can anyone recommend a good guide? I did some searching online and only found a few guides that aren’t strictly fly guides. I enjoy fly fishing but for this trip I’m hoping to troll because my fishing buddies aren’t very good fly fishermen. NV has almost more Wild Horses and Burros combined than our struggling Mule Deer Herd that is almost at a all time low very sad situation indeed.
From 2020 to 2023, the U.S. Bureau of Land Management (BLM) rounded up and removed 50,000 wild horses and burros, primarily in Nevada.
The BLM said Monday it estimates the current population in the state at 38,023 — 33,338 horses and 4,685 burros. Overall, the population on all public lands across the country is estimated at 73,520, a decline...

Just heard on the Radio Migrants will now start being bussed to towns in NV with there consent of course and will be 95% Males to work with the Mining Industries and Ranches In Southern and Northen NV: list was told to be going to Elko, Ely, Pioche and Panaca along with Tonopah will be the next stops very soon not sure if our governor can get ahold on this or not but will be interesting to see how this plays out ..read more
