I’ve got a nice built in Blaze gas grill, but it never gets used since I prefer to cook on the BGE. Would like to get some use out of it though. What meals/ situations do folks prefer to use a gasser over the egg? I’m also thinking about getting one of those steel made flat tops, which would open some new options ..read more

I’m assuming 230f until 195c cooked temperature with a salt and pepper rub
Question: Do I need to foil them ?

Finally my hands on some new bands so I think I'll be able to have my egg back in service today. Outside of that, I've been pretty inspired to cook for the past year or so but I'm gonna pull myself out of the funk.

I tried to go to the greeneggers.com and can't seem to connect. I thought I would try here to look for a recipe for Prime rib that I used in the past. I select the cookbook tab above and all it does is connect to a forum with cookbook topics and not a list of recipes. Does anyone here know what happened to know what happened with the greeneggers.com website?

Need some help. A friend gets packer briskets from "a guy" a couple of times a year. He gives them to me and we have a bunch of guys over (usually 10-15) for a big lunch. Last week he said he was getting another one, so we planned to have our big lunch this Friday. He dropped it off with me on Tuesday and it turned out not to be a brisket but a 20 lb beef strip loin (I think. It had no label on it - see picture).
I've never tried to cook anything like this. I don't have the grill capacity to cut it into steaks (New York strips?). Just my large Egg. I'm considering roasting it at around 250 an ..read more
