Our First post on the Idaho page (I think) - this trip happened 3 weeks ago (I am a little slow ) First many thanks to many on this page and on a IDAHO FB page that offered ideas and suggestions for getting our son and his wheelchair into some Idaho adventure. Well good morning everyone. As I sit here this morning, I had this brain f**t pop up in my head. With this so called "winter" that we've had around this year, does anyone know if there is any ice on Ririe or other reservoirs around East Idaho. I've seen that Henry's has had ice, but I havent heard anything on places like Ririe.  Just curious, because now, they are calling for temps as high as the low 50's come this weekend according to the local weather forecasters. Took a drive up to check out cascade yesterday. Fished off Sugarloaf in 10 to 15ft of water for a couple hours and caught some decent perch. Still around 10 in of ice with 4 inch of slush and some annoying inch thick crust ice on top of that. Worth the effort for the jumbo perch there.  ..read more
