Hey all, My good friend vanished on his bike two weeks ago. We think he went riding somewhere out at Pilot Hill, Happy Jack, Roger Canyon or even private land near Laramie Wyoming. A massive search is underway and even the National Guard has been looking for him via Black Hawk helicopter. He is 5'11, roughly 165 lbs. Slim build. He rides a white rigid single speed Ridley. This is one of my favorites! Located off Freddie's Stack Rock trail near the junction with Eastside and Sweet Connie, this narrow, loamy single track drops into a creek drainage and weaves and winds around trees and over rocks and roots for about 2 miles until it crosses Sinker Creek. It's been a long time since I was on MTBR. I posted a new introduction today. I'm planning a road trip with my wife for the middle of July, from northern Illinois to Lincoln City Oregon. The purpose of the trip is not primarily mountain biking, but I would like to get in 2-4 spectacular rides along the way there and back. I'm looking for singletrack and scenery, not downhill gnar or super technical stuff. I'm mostly a trail/all mountain kinda guy. Also, I'm probably looking at only 10-15...
