Have a 2013 wrangler 2 door manual 6 spd. 60k miles, 33 inch tires and 321 gears, can't really use 6th gear. I seldom drive over 65mph and don't do much off road mostly forest service roads and sometime tow a small tent trailer or take my boat to our local ramp (If I keep doing this I won't have a clutch). Would you recommend 373, 411 or 456 ? Also please recommend someone near boise who you might suggest to replace the gears. Thanks ..read more

New to me 2004 wrangler rubicon manual nv3550, makes a screeching sound in 3rd 4th and 5th only on acceleration, 135,000 miles. any suggestions? have replaced my trans fluid with red line synchromesh. Called one shop they aid it could be transfer case but I don't see how only 3rd 4th and 5th would cause? Do you have a suggestion on who to contct? thanks for your help ..read more

Middle of nowhere in southern Idaho. Looking for some input or suggestions on where to take my 2018 JK Unlimited Sport for ring and pinion re-gearing. Everything I read seems to indicate that the installation will determine how well the gears hold up, more so than the brand of gears. I am wondering if anyone from the Boise area has a place they go to refill their Powertank/CO2 system that does it onsite. Most of the places I have called either said they don't do the service or they recommend taking it to NORCO, who will ship it off and get it back within a couple weeks which I don't want to do.
