The first Hades was an absolute delight. I enjoyed the game so much that it became my very first 10/10 review. While the game was an exhilarating blend of fast-paced action combat and the exciting randomness that roguelikes have to offer, what really pulled me in was the story. Hades was the first roguelike where I was drawn in, ready to throw myself at waves of enemies to learn more about the narrative and engage with the characters. But while Manor Lords has strategy combat and ox-based infrastructure, what I'm really enamoured with is the flexible plotting system that lets me build the organic-looking, mud-hovel metropolis of my dreams. Bandai Spirits has announced an Ichiban Kuji lottery for Honkai: Star Rail to commemorate its first anniversary with new merchandise. There are seven kinds of prizes in total. Yuuki Oooka, the producer of Hololive's Holoearth, has posted an update on what the team has been working on, as well as what beta players can expect in 2024. The full update includes an expected roadmap, as well as a tentative May 2025 release window. To start with, Oooka said tests for the video streaming feature, avatar creation system, and simulation room went very well. The glasses, along with cases and cleaning clothes featuring a limited design, will be open for pre-order until May 19, 2024 and they’ll come out in late November 2024. The glasses cost 12,200 JPY ($78) each. This includes the frames, the lenses, the case, and the cleaning cloth. Version 2.2 of Honkai: Star Rail now has a release date of May 8, 2024, which is when it will arrive and bring new story missions and characters. The announcement comes on the tail of the Version 2.2 special program stream, which previewed some of the upcoming additions.
