Hi Newport Church Family,
We pray that you are experiencing God's grace, favor and provision.
We are now in day six of our 21 Days of Prayer, when we are praying for 12 specific things every day.
The first of these is “Payer for our Nation,” which is especially important in these days leading up to the election.
The second is “Prayer for the strength and growth of our Church,” and that we experience God’s supernatural presence, power and provision in the coming days.
The other 10 points are things that each one of us choose, specific to our own lives and world, believing that God will do e ..read more

Hi Newport Church Family,
We pray that you are experiencing God's grace and favor and are in good spirit and health.
It’s Labor Day weekend and a reminder that we are not meeting in person this Sunday, but will be watching our service online at home.
We pray that you will experience the same grace that was on the lives of the early believers as they gathered and broke bread together with gladness and simplicity of heart.
Labor Day is always a special day for us as a family, because it was on this weekend 17 years ago that Pastor Di went into labor and our youngest daughter London was born!

Engage! – A Call to Action
The prophet Habakkuk wrote to God’s people, “write the vision, make it plain, that those who read it may run with it!”
Last Sunday we shared our 2022 Vision Focus as a church, which is encapsulated in the word “ENGAGE!”
At a time when the disruptions of the last two years have presented unique challenges that have caused so much disengagement, we have a deep sense that God is saying to each one of us, “Engage!” It’s a call to act ..read more

Hi Newport Church Family,
We hope that you are doing well and that fresh faith is rising in your heart, as we pray and believe for Miracles together!
It's been two years ago this week since my precious Mum went to Heaven to be with Jesus and as I think about her I am reminded that Heaven is the greatest miracle of all for every one of us!
As mentioned last week, a much-loved tradition of our church is to write down miracles we are believing for, and every Sunday during the month of May, we will be providing cards for everyone to pen their prayers.
When we believe and ask ..read more

Hi Newport Church Family,
Spring is well and truly here, and before we know it, Summer will be too! As time may seem to be rushing by, let’s remember to thank God every single day for His new mercies every morning.
Last Sunday, Ps Jonathan brought a significant message entitled “Awakening to the Miraculous.” Three keys to awakening to the miraculous shared were: an encounter with God, an act of obedience, and an expression of thankfulness.
A much-loved tradition of our church is to write down miracles we are believing for, and this Sunday, we will be providing cards for everyone to pe ..read more

Hi Newport Church Family,
We pray that you are in good health, heart and spirit.
As I think about all of the invitations I’ve received over the years, the most significant invitation I have ever received was to go to church with a group of young people on a Sunday morning over 40 years ago.
I have received many invitations over the years, giving me opportunities to meet new people, experience new things and create new memories.
However none of them were to impact my life in the way that invitation did, because it changed the course and trajectory of my life.
Come and See

Hi Newport Church Family,
We pray that you are in good, health, heart and spirit.
We’ve Moved to Newport Big 6 Theater!
Tomorrow we begin a new season and we are so excited to gather as we worship together in our new venue.
Every new season brings an opportunity to reset, refresh and reflect on the goodness of our God, who has brought us this far and will continue to complete in and through us, that which He has begun.
As the Apostle Paul said:
I am certain that God, who began the good work within you, will continue His work until it is finally finished on the day when Christ Jesus retu ..read more

Moving Forward!
After 7 years in our current location it’s time for us to move and begin a new chapter for our church, and our vision and mission to be a hub of hope and faith for our community and beyond.
Over the last weeks we have been focusing on the Apostle Peter’s revelation that we are Living Stones being built into a Spiritual House.
Jesus said, “I will build My church,” and He is building His church with living stones, like you and me!
Peter emphasizes that the church is not a building but it is t ..read more
