Dr. Ralph A. Wurbs, senior professor in the Zachry Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering at Texas A&M University, has been selected as the inaugural recipient of the Texas Water Journal’s Texas Water Lifetime Achievement Award. Dr. Wurbs has worked in water management since 1971, when upon graduation from Texas A&M University with a BSCE degree, he joined the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers civil works program as a civil engineer, planning and designing water resource projects.
