Witnessing a magic performance in person differs greatly from watching it on TV. Think of it like listening to music on the radio, compared to a live concert. That is the experience you want your guests to have, and they will, after witnessing "The Magic of Joe Ferranti" in person. Joe Ferranti specializes in adult events. Curious about the Secrets of Magic? What you need to know.
The Secrets of Magic My interest (curiosity) in magic goes back around 40+ years. There was no internet to access magic secrets. Those serious about the craft would visit magic shops. If there was one or more in your vicinity, you were fortunate. Upon entering a magic shop, you would feel you have arrived at […]

Close-Up Magic is CLOSE! But It’s More Than Just the Distance!
Close-Up-Massachusetts Magician The title says it all—Close-Up Magic is obviously performed up close, but there’s more to it than just proximity. The key element is personal connection. “Personal” means creating a genuine connection between the magician and the audience. We connect through our eyes, our touch, and our words. These connections are as important as […]

Experience the Astonishing World of Card Miracles!Boston Card Magician Joe Ferranti
In the world of magic, where the impossible becomes possible, Boston Magician Joe Ferranti has an endless fascination with Card Magic. He recently said, “I have added magic with coins and other everyday objects to my repertoire. However, when I find myself at a large “Walk Around Magic Performance” where I have just a few minutes to spend with the attendees, I can do nothing to make a lasting impact on my audience more than performing some quick, Card miracles.

Joe ferranti “The Best in Magic Entertainment." Boston Magician
Being a Boston Magician with a part-time semi-pro status, I may not have a high profile in the who’s who of the magic industry. However, I do have a loyal base of repeat clients who appreciate my services. Unlike those seen on late night TV or talent shows like AGT, Penn and Teller, or Masters of Illusion, I prefer a more understated approach. It’s not my goal to chase after that level of fame—it’s simply not my style. Or on my bucket list.
Speaking of age, Mark Lewis recently proved age is no barrier, earning a “Golden Buzzer” on ..read more

A.I. is beyond my scope of understanding for my personal use. Perhaps I’m too old to learn the intricacies…? Things are changing faster than I can process. I maintain my website. I wear all the hats. It’s not that I want to, but honestly, I work part-time. Having my website professionally maintained would cost more than I earn. That is something I do understand.
A.I. Photo Software
I have and continue to use A.I. Photo Software on all my pictures on my website. Simply put, all my photos come from video footage. Video to still image is far from pe ..read more

Joe ferranti “The Best in Magic Entertainment."Boston Massachusetts Premier Adult Birthday Magician
This is not my first warning; I’ve said it before, check out some videos of your performer. Ensure for your peace of mind that your performer does not “modify” their children’s show to suit an adult audience. Remember the square peg into a round hole. That applies here. For example, here are my Birthday videos.
(If you don’t see videos, ask yourself why. Everyone in your audience has a phone…many record performances. It’s not difficult to post a little video footage. Are you hiding something ..read more

Clairvoyance, telepathy, or the highly profitable channeler, is any of it real?
Ahh…NO!
I’ve never seen any evidence, and more importantly, the experts agree.
“While Harry Houdini, whose name is synonymous with ‘magician,’ held a strong and skeptical view when it came to spiritualists and mediums.
He was critical of those who claimed to have supernatural abilities, especially spiritualists who purported to communicate with the deceased. Let me clarify, he wanted to expose those who took advantage of grieving people who would enrich their pockets ..read more

Do You Need a Magician at Your Cocktail Hour?
Of course, you don’t. We have to put limits on everything. Well, presuming you have a budget.
How many guests will you have, 50? 100? more, maybe less. Often, we can’t invite everyone we might like to have at our weddings. These are the tough decisions we have to make. Friends and loved ones are the hardest cuts you might have to make.

The Magic Experience. Joe Ferranti Close-Up Magician.
How many of us have strived to perform a “Perfect Pass?” I used to believe there were magicians who could perform an “invisible pass” while their hands were being “burned.” (Burn means, the spectators are looking at your hands only, in hopes of catching the secret.)
I certainly don’t demean the skill and hours of practice the best passers endure. It’s not easy, some of us might never get it. However, if you listen to the experts of our day, you will learn intricacies that will assist yo ..read more

“Experience” The Magic of Joe Ferranti
This is not another article about “Scripting” our presentations. Suffice to say, I recognize the importance, but I’ll never get through to those who believe they can make it up as they go along. Is “Magic” the only craft where performers are willing to perform without proper rehearsal?
