I tried it out today on the Fort Wayne site and there is activity on multiple talkgroups as well as undocumented frequencies that DSDPlus has collected. I just grabbed a really nice, mint Realistic Pro 16A from marketplace. It was fully loaded with crystals for lake county Indiana. It's fun to see what people used to listen to. I live about 20 miles away from North Manchester in Wabash County Indiana. If I have my pro-106 scanner within a mile of the town, I can hear them perfectly. If I get much farther than that away, I lose them. I am curious if somebody more knowledgeable than me, can tell me if just using a better antenna for the 150 MHz range would allow me to hear them, as I currently use a rubber duck 800 MHz antenna, or if I am just out of luck due to the distance. I am now in a position to help fill in the gaps in the RR database for DMR and NXDN systems in Bloomington, Indiana (Monroe Co). Background: I do a lot of public safety P25 listening on SAFE-T, and listened to analog FM before that. I scan the KBMG control tower and occasionally milair too. I went to Cirque du Soleil tonight and was surprised when I got back to the car that my radio recorded nothing from Gainbridge Fieldhouse.
