If weeds have plagued your St. Augustine partial or entire lawn, there’s no need to break a sweat just yet because here are the best weed killers for weed control in a St. Augustine gras ..read more

Riding lawnmowers have been around for a while now, but if there was one thing that’s stopped me from taking the plunge it would be the large size of these machines.
However, fast forward to today and I’m a proud owner of a fairly small riding lawnmower – yes, they do exist and surprisingly there’s no shortage of small lawnmowers in the market.
There are many models that come with optimal power, robust engines, comfortable adjustable seats and offer top-notch performance and cutting power.
But, I’d have to admit, buying the smaller riding mower isn’t an easy task, given there are s ..read more

Zero-turn mowers are all the rage lately, and for good reasons. For starters, zero-turn mowers offer superior maneuverability, faster mowing times, and a comfortable ride.
Commercial zero-turn mowers come with larger, more powerful engines and transmissions and bigger tires than their residential counterparts, making them excellent options for sprawling yards or tasks requiring high-cutting performance.
I’ve invested in a couple of commercial-grade zero-turn mowers over the years, so I do know a thing or two about the factors to look for when choosing the best commercial-zero-turn ..read more

If your fluffy friend has been searching for treasure in your yard, don’t be too hard on them, they’re just doing what comes naturally to them, besides, it’s a super easy fix.
If the disturbed earth is still hanging around, scoop as much of it up as you can, refill the holes, and pack the earth down.
This has happened to me before with my cat, believe it or not. I found that you’ll never be able to truly level the holes with the soil you can regather, so if you’ve got a friend that’s getting rid of some topsoil, ask them for a shovel or two’s worth.
Use it to top up the depressions, and if the ..read more

There are 3 types of topdressing, each with its own benefits:
Sand topdressings
Soil and Sand Mix
Compost, Soil and Sand Mix
Leveling Lawn With Sand Top Dressing
100% sand topdressings are the quickest for leveling. Sand has excellent stability and binds well with the clay content in soils.

Furthermore, sand offers nothing in the way of nutrition or microbial benefits, which can impart even more unnecessary pressure on ..read more
